In June the sun sets close to 10 pm, so you’ll have plenty of time to walk the beach or tour historic Eagle River before dark . Dining at Fitzgerald’s will undoubtedly be the highlight of your visit to the Keweenaw. Dinner reservations are recommended, and smoking is discouraged in the dining room.

Fitzgerald’s restaurant is one of the finest restaurants in the Upper Peninsula. A casual, nautical setting awaits you featuring hand carved ships and paintings of the famous Edmund Fitzgerald, which sank in Lake Superior in 1975 with its crew of 29.
