Our menu is simple and ever evolving, without any pretenses. We take as much pride in our BLT as we do in any of our dinner entrees because we look at each table we serve as an investment.

The Deer Country
Spinach, tomatoes, avocado slices, Sierra Nevada Stout mustard and goat cheese served on toasted wheat bread, with a side of our homemade hummus. A collaboration with one of our favorite local bands, This Is Deer Country.

Pecan Walleye
Walleye fillet dredged in pecan flour, then topped with dried Michigan cherry butter.

Shrimp and Scallop Alfredo
Jumbo shrimp and scallops over linguini, tossed in our own alfredo sauce.

While the centerpiece of our bar is certainly our massive selection of single malt scotch, bourbon, and other whiskies of the world, the rest of our bar stands out on its own, too. We have plenty of premium vodka and gin, and our rum collection is second to none in our area. Along with our spirits collection, we have a great selection of microbrews on tap and in bottles, and a thoughtfully selected wine list to meet any budget.

Coastal DiningThe cornerstone of Fitzgerald's is our intimate dining room with a stunning view of Lake Superior. Whether it's calm and sunny or windy and raining, the lake takes a different shape each day, and the various personalities in the restaurant change along with it. Some of our favorite times as owners are when two tables who have never met before suddenly strike up a conversation and find that even though they're from two very different places, they have a great deal in common that's lead them to our small restaurant in Eagle River.

We take great pride in what we do here, and the advantage of being small is that we can closely interact with our customers every day. Hearing what our customers do, where they're from, or how they got here is meaningful to us, because everyone has a great story if they're willing to tell it.

Bell's Brewing Tap Takeover

In celebration of the first ever U.P. Craft Beer week we will tapping a special Bell's beer Monday thru Friday this upcoming week. We are very excited for this event, as we have been holding onto three of these barrels since the summer of 2010. The tap schedule goes as follows: Monday 09/03/2012 2010 Expedition Stout Tuesday 09/04/2012 2010 Third Coast Old Ale Wednesday 09/05/2012 Sparkling Ale Thursday 09/06/2012 The Oracle Friday 09/07/2012 Noon: Batch 10,000 and 8:00 Black Note Keweenaw Brewgrass will be playing at 8:00 on Friday the 7th. Fourth of July is approaching

We are hammering out the last minute details of our Fourth of July party which is quickly approaching! Sounds like 3 bands again, bond fire on the beach, fire works, and an out door Tiki bar this year, which we didn't have last year. We are looking at selling BBQ outside in front of the building to help with crowds on the deck and in the restaurant, we will see how that turns out. I think it will help a bunch. Few new things on tap, Epic Brewing Brainless on Peaches. It's a Belgian style Golden Ale aged in Chardonnay barrels on organic peaches. They spike it with some champagne yeast to get the ABV where they wanted it. It's pretty tastey, and it's only a quarter barrel so come and try it! After that's done we have their Brainless on Cherries to put on, so look out for that. Also Citra Pale Ale from Odd Side Ales is back on tap, and I think it will be here for most of the summer. Just a really juicy, nicely balanced American Pale Ale. The response has been tremendous. Thanks to all the families that brought their dads out for Fathers Day.
